The Golf Program
Our goal is to provide a thorough and wide array of programming options for every skill level, age, and gender of our members through appropriate staffing and enthusiastic teaching styles. With experienced instructors, varied clinics, advanced technology, and superb training facilities, we are confident that our members can get the best instruction and the most out of their golf games, here at their home Club.
Golf Instruction and Clinics
The golf professional staff is ready to provide great instruction to everyone eager to improve their game. The staff offers youth clinics, short game clinics, on-course instruction, group lessons, and individual lessons., Video equipment is available every day for members who would like to get the most out of a private lesson. Please contact the Golf Shop staff for more information.
A wide variety of clinics are offered throughout the year. The golf clinics cover full swing to short game and putting. Golfers of all levels are invited to participate in the clinics.
Tournaments
Big Canyon Country Club offers more than 70 tournaments throughout the year, including events for men, ladies, couples, and youth. There are tournaments designed for every caliber of golfer, from a beginner to the very accomplished. The Club's signature member/guest tournaments are the Men's, Ladies', and Couples' Balboas, and McFadden Cup. Club Championship events for men's, and ladies, couples, seniors, and youths are also offered each year. The couples' and Niners events are a great way to play in a stress-free tournament environment and meet new people.
Youth Golf Program
The Youth Golf Program enables the newest player up to those wishing to complete in high school and college, opportunities to learn and grow.
